About this role
Heavy Bus Driver for a passenger transport company in the UAE (150 positions).
Responsibilities:
- Drive heavy buses safely on assigned routes and keep to the schedule
- Check the bus before each trip (tyres, brakes, lights, fluids)
- Make sure passengers get on, sit and get off safely
- Follow UAE traffic laws and company safety rules
- Report breakdowns, accidents and defects immediately
- Keep the bus clean and fill in trip logs
Requirements:
- SSLC (10th) pass
- At least 1 year of driving experience in a GCC country
- A UAE heavy bus licence (No. 6), valid or expired, or a valid heavy vehicle licence from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait or Bahrain (a Saudi transport licence is also accepted)
- Able to speak, read and write basic English
- Age 22 to 49 years
- No deduction for training or licence transfer
Working hours and contract:
- 8 hours a day
- Overtime available
- 2-year contract
Pay notes:
- Candidates with an expired UAE licence or a valid GCC licence get 2-3 months of training, with a salary of 500 AED during the training period
