About this role
Senior Testing and Commissioning Engineer for an electrical contracting company working on switchgear, transformer and power cable projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE (5 positions).
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead testing and commissioning of HV and LV switchgear, power transformers and power cables
- Carry out and supervise tests such as insulation resistance, hi-pot, relay and protection tests
- Prepare test procedures and reports and present results to clients and consultants
- Supervise and guide testing engineers and technicians on site
- Find and solve faults and make sure safety procedures are followed
Requirements:
- B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- At least 10 years of experience
- Hands-on experience in switchgear, power transformer, power cable, industrial or infrastructure projects
- Indian or Gulf experience accepted
- Age 23 to 40
