About this role
Staff Nurse for a hospital in Oman (50 positions).
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients, record vital signs and report any change to the doctor
- Give medicines, injections and IV fluids as prescribed
- Carry out nursing procedures such as wound care, catheter care and sample collection
- Follow infection control and patient safety rules
- Keep accurate nursing notes and hand over patients clearly at each change of duty
- Teach patients and families about their care and discharge
Requirements:
- BSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing, MSc Nursing or GNM
- BSc Nursing holders: at least 3 years of experience
- GNM holders: at least 4 years of experience
- Age up to 35
Working hours and contract:
- 10 hours a day
- 1 day off a week
- 2-year contract
