About this role
- Candidate have must Hands-on experience in switchgear, power transformer, power cable, industrial or infrastructure projects*
TAQA/ADDC Approved HV and LV Cable Jointer for an electrical contracting company working on switchgear, power transformer and power cable projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE (10 positions).
Responsibilities:
- Joint and terminate HV and LV power cables using approved jointing kits and methods
- Prepare cables: cut, strip, clean and fit lugs and connectors correctly
- Work on the Abu Dhabi distribution network to TAQA/ADDC standards
- Check joints and assist with cable testing before energising
- Follow permit-to-work and electrical safety rules on site
- Keep tools and jointing materials in good condition
Requirements:
- Diploma or ITI
- A valid TAQA/ADDC jointer approval
- At least 4 years of experience as an HV and LV cable jointer
- Hands-on experience in switchgear, power transformer, power cable, industrial or infrastructure projects
- Both Indian and Gulf experience accepted
- Age 23 to 40 years
