Electrical Engineer

Salary: 6,000 – 7,000 SAR per month

Job summary

Manage all aspects of electrical systems on industrial construction projects, from design and execution to handover: electrical design and calculations, coordination with clients and consultants, and adherence to project specifications and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review electrical designs and drawings; load schedules; voltage drop, lighting and containment calculations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and suppliers for submissions, approvals and material selection.
• Oversee on-site implementation of electrical systems; supervise the site electrical team; inspect installations for compliance and safety.
• Attend client and consultant meetings; prepare progress, daily and handover reports.
• Complete, test, commission and hand over electrical works to the client.

Core expertise

• Load schedules and panel board selection with suppliers.
• Lighting design, lux calculations and fixture selection.
• Power distribution, sockets and LV cables.
• HVAC systems, DDC, lightning protection and earthing.
• Low-current systems: data, telephone, access control, CCTV, SMATV, public address.
• Fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional).

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.

Experience: 5–6 years in electrical engineering, including industrial construction projects.

Skills: electrical design, calculations and drafting; codes, standards and specifications; team management and coordination; design software; good written and spoken communication.
