Salary: 6,000 – 7,000 SAR per month

Job summary

Oversee mechanical systems design, installation and commissioning for industrial construction projects: HVAC, firefighting, plumbing and piping systems. Coordinate with the client, consultants, suppliers and vendors, run site operations and complete the project on time to the technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Review mechanical designs and drawings for accuracy and compliance; submit them for approval.
• Attend meetings with the client, consultants and engineers; coordinate suppliers and vendors for timely procurement.
• Supervise installation of HVAC, firefighting (sprinklers, piping, risers, external lines), fire suppression, plumbing and piping systems to design and quality standards.
• Manage the on-site mechanical team, delegate tasks and monitor progress.
• Prepare daily progress reports; keep to timelines and budget and report concerns to management.
• Test, commission and hand over fully operational mechanical systems.
• Coordinate with civil and electrical teams; supervise machine shifting, installation and positioning.

Core expertise

• HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, drainage and compressed air systems.
• Structural / platform fabrication, erection and general mechanical fabrication.
• Piping, insulation and cladding works; fire suppression installation.
• Vendor and supplier coordination.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.

Experience: 5–6 years in mechanical engineering with hands-on experience in industrial construction projects.

Skills: mechanical system design, execution and quality control; HVAC, firefighting and plumbing standards; site team management; mechanical design software; good written and spoken English; problem-solving.
