WORKSHOP FOREMAN

Workshop Foreman for an auto service centre in Muscat, Oman (4 positions).

Responsibilities:

• Supervise mechanics and technicians and share out the daily jobs in the workshop
• Diagnose vehicle faults and guide the team on repairs
• Check finished work for quality before vehicles go back to customers
• Explain repairs and estimates to customers
• Make sure tools, spare parts and safety rules are in order
• Keep job cards and workshop records up to date

Requirements:

• ITI Automobile or B.Tech / B.E. Mechanical; an ITI or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical is preferred, but a formal qualification is not a must if you have strong practical experience
• 6 to 10 years of experience, all 6 years in a GCC country
• Strong diagnostic and supervision skills
• Must speak Arabic
• Age 25 to 35 years

Working hours and contract:

• 10.5 hours a day
• 1 day off per week
• 2-year contract

Pay notes:

• Up to 270 OMR a month, depending on experience and skills
• Performance incentives (points system), with chances of salary increase and promotion
